Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd started her combat sports journey at age 14. She was a boxer, fighter in kickboxing wrestling, BJJ, and other sports before making her professional debut at 18, at WCFC in a fight against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd gained momentum from this victory and then went on to a three-fight victory streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her adversaries in the very first round of each fight. After that, she went back to WCFC in which she beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen was able to defeat Silvia Babaeghian, and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9. Cynthia was superior to Aspen who beat Cynthia by a majority vote. Cynthia's record as an amateur was destroyed. Ladd recovered from the loss through defeat of Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, increasing her record to 8-1. Aspen began her professional career in the year 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Aspen faced Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and beat her in the first round to win a TKO. The next time she fought, she won at the hands of Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission and went up to Bantamweight for her subsequent fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen's formidable wrestling ability took down McGill, and she was able to end her third round by TKO (elbows as well as punches). The next fight was against Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18, which was catchweight(138.1lb) in which Ladd missed weight despite this Aspen was a dominant Hoy and defeated her at the end of round two via TKO. In her last fight for Promotion, she defeated Sijara Eubanks via unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC in the 118th UFC Fight Night 118, in a fight against Lina Langsberg. She beat Lina with a ground and pound victory in 2nd round. She continued her dominance and racked up an impressive victory in her subsequent fight against Tonya Evinger in UFC 229. Ladd ended Evinger in the first round as well as a win of the night bonus. Her first major fight came during her subsequent fight in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos vs. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Both fighters put on an intense battle that concluded with Ladd winning via unanimous decision and both fighters receiving one of the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd's winning streak within 16 seconds. She came back to finish Yana Kunitskaya, in the 3rd round in the UFC in ESPN 7. She fought Norma Dumont as a substitute for her fight last time with the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. The fight was unanimously decided against her.
