Sharon Yvonne Stone, born 10 March 1958 from Meadville (Pennsylvania), is born to Dorothy Lawson, a former employee at a factory as well as Joseph William Stone, a tool maker and die maker. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are three of her siblings. Stone began the second grade when she was just five. Her parents believed her as being academically gifted. Saegertown Senior High School, Saegertown Pennsylvania, was where she earned her diploma in 1975. A winner of Miss Crawford County, she also participated in the Miss Pennsylvania Beauty Pageant. Stone and her aunt moved from New Jersey to New Jersey to start a modelling career in the year 1977. They joined an agency called the Ford Modeling Agency after a few months. After one year of modeling in Milan and Paris and then moving to Europe. But, Stone became disillusioned with modeling and fashion in Europe which led her to take up acting while in the country. At the age of 20, she appeared in Woody Allen's "Stardust Memories" the film which got mixed receptions.
